Process

Every Store Room piece begins with a question of form — what an object needs to be, and nothing more. From there, each design moves through a considered process in our Sydney studio.

Designed
Each piece is drawn and refined in-house, tested in physical form before it enters the collection. We work slowly, releasing pieces only when the proportion and presence feel resolved.

Formed
The housing is formed using digital fabrication (3D printing), a precise, low-waste process that lets us hold exact proportions and produce in small, considered quantities rather than mass runs.

Finished by hand
Once formed, each piece is finished by hand — refined, checked, and prepared individually. This is the slowest part of the process, and the most important. No two pieces leave the studio without passing through our hands.

Assembled
Components are sourced with care and assembled in-house. Each piece is tested before it's packed.

Materials
Our housings are made from matte PLA, a plant-based material chosen for its finish, weight, and warmth under light. Cord, fittings, and hardware are selected to meet Australian standards and to last.
