BLOOM is what a surface does when something rises through it.
In masonry it is the pale flowering that spreads across a new wall in its first year, as moisture moves out from within and settles on the face of the structure. It is the only time a building visibly changes on its own.
These pieces work the same way. Light rises through the form and spreads across the surface around it, washing up a wall or pooling across a table. Not a light you look at, but one that settles on everything near it.
Formed and finished in our Sydney studio. Made to order, in small batches.
